The Roebuck Hotel is just a couple of miles from us south on the A22 with 2* rooms from £27.

The Chequers inn in Forest Row with 2* rooms from £45.

The Brambletye Hotel in the Village is 3* and rooms start at £59.

But for those wishing to really splash out there are also three of the top hotels in the country each within only a few miles: The Ashdown Park, Gravetye Manor and Alexander House.
