Coarse Fishing at Weir Wood

Weir Wood has been run solely as a Coarse Fishery for the past few years but the existing arrangements through the local fishing clubs comes to an end on 31st March 2010. From April through until the end of June Weir Wood will be closed for coarse fishing, but will then re-open from July 1st.

Weir Wood has good stocks of Carp, Bream, Roach, Rudd Perch and Pike - which should particularly benefit from the re-introduction of Trout

Day and season tickets for Coarse fish (except Pike which will not start until October) and Trout by any method (see rules) will be available on this site from late June. We will also be introducing a number of Competitions as well as courses and tuition and hope to develop Weir Wood in the future as an all round Angling venue and education centre.
